Welcome to the Metro West Family Health Organization (FHO)!
We are a group of over 30 like-minded Family Doctors located in the west end of Toronto, who work together to provide after hours care to our patients.
We feel strongly that the best care for you and your family is both comprehensive and continuous and your Family Doctor is in the best position to provide you with both. However, we know that health issues often arise after hours and our goal is to provide you with quality urgent care and avoid unnecessary trips to both walk in clinics and, when appropriate, to the ER.
Our after hours clinics run Monday through Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm; and Saturdays 9:00-3:00. .These clinics are available for urgent issues only and can only be booked on the same day.
Please note, we are not a walk-in clinic. All patients must have an appointment and be registered with a FHO physician.
GENERALLY YOU SHOULD NOT USE THE AFTER HOURS CLINICS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
- Life-threatening emergencies – please go to your nearest ER or call 911
- Regular prescription renewals
- Results of lab tests or procedures
- Notes or forms for work (if an exception is made, charges may apply)
- Requests for referrals, procedures or for appointments with your own doctor
